Tomblin's Expedition
The Campaign Thus Far; So far, nothing too terrible has happened. Yet.
Games 1-3; the Dark Alchemy campaign. On her first outing in Felstad, Tomblin led her warband through the maze that was a collapsed factory. After some fancy footwork, and some narrow misses (and maybe some catching-on-fire) the party escaped the factory, only to watch it crumble back into the mountain behind them.
Game 4; the Well of Dreams and Sorrows. After establishing herself in a long-abandoned library, Tomblin scouted a neighboring ruin, only to discover that it's single treasure was guarded by a stern golem. After partaking of the well's waters and coming face to face with their guardian, she was promptly whisked away by Thesha, who at this point had begun taking count of how often she'd been saving her employer.
Games 5-7; Huge Mistake. To be succinct, it is never a wise choice to steal anything from a necromancer. Especially shoes. Tomblin looted a cabin, which turned out to be the lair of Neskthar the Horrible. Escaping with his Boots of Speed, she, Thesha, Linus and Orn tried to lose the necromancer's warhost in a ravine. This worked, until skeletons began pouring out of the walls. However, luck found them as instead of execution, the mad wizard opted to cage Tomblin and company at his new-and-improved dungeon hideout. Even more fortuitous was the crafty swordsman Barker, who rallied the troops and mounted a rescue mission. The necromancer was decapitated, and everyone who wasn't explicitly evil limped home happily ever after.
Game 8; the Worm Hunts. On another excursion, Tomblin's party and another gang happened upon the same cache at the same time. Unbeknownst to anyone though, was how near they'd wandered to the sewage system. Making a mad dash towards the loot, Tomblin heard the cries of her rivals, who had just been discovered by a giant worm. More began to appear, and Tomblin narrowly escaped certain doom, thanks to Orn, who went toe to toe with two of the beasts. They had to cut Orn out of one later, but he found that part really funny.
Game 9; the Keep. None of them had ever met a gorilla who knew how to teleport. "Teleporting gorillas," they would laugh, "that's so silly." And then everyone got mauled by a teleporting gorilla. The end.
Game 10; the Market, from the Maphunter campaign. After taking a few weeks off to recover, Tomblin caught wind of a rare map to a legendary bounty. She, Thesha and Linus went to work, but were quickly overrun by muggers. While her companions blocked the bandits, Tomblin managed to escape. Now she's faced with a choice; go back and rescue her companions, or make haste towards the Collector's Crypt!
I have a janky phone camera and I know it.
